The
phoenix, at the top of the cosmic tree, represents the crowning
of the oeuvre in alchemical symbolism and, thanks to him, the
nunlet, half Russian doll, half confirmant extirpates herself
after her accomplishment. (The blue birds in Han Chinese literature
are also the messengers of the immortals). |
